Revealing a dance to every side of darkness or lightness is possible when capturing a moment in time. You can look at a photograph of a dancer and say that he or she is simply posing but when you see a calm horse, a spinning ferris wheel, a living flower or water slipping under a tunnel in a photograph, you can hear a sound and energy that is a dance.

I have combined my skills with a tenacity to forge my talent as a fine art photographer.

I wish to reveal simple and warmly complex features of the life I am living.

This is my approach, my wish, my need. We are all driven by needs.

Exploring textures with my camera is impossible if I do not try to first touch, smell or cling to them with my mind's eye.

Meditation allows me to focus and understand why I was drawn to an object, a place, a different world even. This intensity is my reality.

My images are organic no matter how I choose to manipulate them. So are we. We have all been manipulated but we remember our core,our soul, our heartbeat will never change its rhythm, its gift it gives us is life rhythm.

My life rhythm has been taking me to sensual explorations and educational journeys full of tears and to rivers to shed them. I have seen the brightest smiles in the ghettos of Chicago and the old women in the laundry mats of South Carolina, Mississippi, and Texas have helped me remember that grace will see me through.
