Kimberlite Photography is a Fine Art and an Everyday Wonder Approach created by Leah Saunders. Leah is inspired by the Big Holes dug in the earth to follow the kimberlite pipes used to mine diamonds in Kimberly South Africa.

In 1866, a young man from a poor family named Erasmus Jacobs found a small white pebble on the banks of the Orange River near Hopetown. He tossed it around and adored the brilliance without ever thinking it was worth anything. His mother asked a friend to bring it into town to have it examined......it was kimberlite, a type of rock best known for sometimes containing diamonds. This kimberlite housed a 21.25 carat diamond!

Do you believe in digging deeper? What about for truth?

Patience, hope and gratitude allows one to discover brilliance in people and moments... treasures that make your spirit dance!

"If we all would dig Big Holes in our hearts to help each other, imagine the size of the priceless treasures. Keep digging!"

Avec tous mes sentiments,

Leah Saunders
